Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General position located in Missoula, Montana. This role involves performing ultrasound examinations in various areas of the healthcare facility, including inpatient and outpatient settings. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Missoula, Montana
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Montana or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; valid Allied license (if applicable); ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or BR specialties; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; at least 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ultrasound procedures including fetal anatomical surveys, arterial and venous Doppler studies, and familiarity with the Epic charting system.
- Additional Information: The ultrasound technologist will be required to float between units including inpatient, outpatient, ER, vascular, and procedural areas. The position involves covering weekend shifts and on-call responsibilities 1-3 nights per week, with the possibility of rotation through different hospital areas. The candidate must be prepared to work in sterile units such as the OR, ICU, ER, and COVID units.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
