Job Summary:
A Sleep Technologist specializing in polysomnography is sought at a healthcare facility in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves overseeing and performing complex sleep studies, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations, and assisting in troubleshooting data acquisition to ensure high-quality sleep recordings. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Detroit, Michigan
- Certification/Licenses Required: Registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technicians (BRPT); Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Education/Experience Required: High school diploma or G.E.D. required; Bachelors degree with some scientific coursework preferred; able to score Sleep Reliability according to HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines.
- Schedule: 4 days a week, 10-hour shift, 7:30 PM 6:30 AM, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through BRPT; BLS Certification.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be registered and have experience working with children. Candidate will receive on-the-job training with Epic electronic medical record system. Will work at other sleep lab locations based on need.
