Job Summary:
CT Technologist in a public health setting. This position involves providing radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation, adhering to established protocols and radiation protection principles. The role requires the ability to work effectively within a diverse patient population and maintain high standards of patient care and safety.

Job Details:

• Shift: Days, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; completion of a CT/X-ray training program; current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography; certifications in CT (Computed Tomography) and XR (X-ray); minimum 1 year of related experience; located at least 100 miles from the facility
• Additional Information:
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to age and development.
  • Must be capable of performing diagnostic medical radiography within the department and other areas as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining patient records and departmental quality assurance program.
  • Willing to work in stressful situations, take call, and report within 20 minutes when required.
  • Ability to perform ancillary duties as assigned and follow facility policies and procedures.
  • Willingness to assist in general hygiene and perform other duties as needed.
