This position involves performing computed tomography procedures with professionalism and service excellence. The technologist will handle patient care, maintain equipment, and ensure the accuracy and safety of imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and HIPAA regulations. Job Details Certifications, Education, and Experience: High School diploma or GED, completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College-based Radiography program, ARRT Registered in Radiography and CT, NJDEP New Jersey State X-Ray License, BLS Certification, and 0 years of experience. Schedule: Nights shift, 10 hours per shift, with a total of 40 hours per week. Responsibilities: Obtain necessary supplies, maintain sterility, prepare requisitions, communicate with patients and families, verify patient identification, observe patient condition pre- and post-contrast injections, ensure availability of medical records, respond to emergencies, maintain supplies, clean and inventory equipment, participate in routine cleaning of equipment, triage procedures, assist with emergent and unscheduled procedures, evaluate patient tolerance to contrast, and maintain quality assurance and control. Additional Information: The technologist will assist in maintaining CT storeroom inventory, and notify leadership of equipment or medication expiration. All procedures involving emergent cases will follow established protocols involving rapid image acquisition, processing, and reporting.
