Job Summary
A Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computerized Tomography (CT) is sought for an immediate start at a healthcare facility located in Presque Isle, Maine. The position involves working primarily in the X-ray department with rotations into Computed Tomography (CT), providing vital imaging services to adult and geriatric patients. The role offers an opportunity to contribute in a dynamic environment with a supportive team, encompassing diverse patient cases and advanced imaging technology.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shift, typically Monday through Friday, with shifts of 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Maine State License, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R) certification in CT, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 1 year of CT experience; additional experience with general radiology, CTA, IV starts, and biopsies highly preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens X.Cite, GE 16-slice PET CT, and Fluoroscopy units; comfort with cross-training in operating room equipment such as C-Arms and mobile units; familiarity with Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and AGFA Enterprise Imaging PACS
- Additional Information: This position involves rotation between CT, X-ray, and potentially operating room duties including portable scans. Orientation period of 1 to 1.5 weeks will be provided based on individual comfort level. The facility supports float roles across departments and utilizes advanced imaging equipment. The work environment requires scrubs in solid colors, with free parking available.
