Job Summary:

Radiology Technician specializing in CT imaging, located in Artesia, New Mexico. This position entails performing X-ray and CT scans within a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The schedule includes night shifts on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and every other Saturday.

Job Details:

• Location: Artesia, New Mexico


• Schedule: Nights, Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, and every other Saturday; Minimum of 36 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: Certify in Basic Life Support (BLS), state licensure in New Mexico, ARRT certification in radiology or computed tomography, one-year experience preferred, with the ability to start IVs. Candidate must have CT and X-ray experience, and be willing to learn on-site equipment.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing common radiology exams, including ER and OR procedures; willing to work in a similar setting; experience with EMR systems (Truebridge) and PACS (NOVA RAD).


• Additional Information: The department performs a variety of imaging studies on Philips, GE, Fuji, and Konica equipment. No in-house radiologist; all reads are performed via teleradiology. Shifts are scheduled by the director with no self-scheduling. On-call rotation every five weeks, with 24-hour weekend coverage and a 30-minute response time.


• Certifications: BLS certification; minimum of 1 year of experience required.
