Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) located in Bozeman, Montana. The Outpatient Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is responsible for performing CT procedures, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and assisting in patient diagnosis and treatment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Bozeman, Montana
- Schedule: Rotating shift hours, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) licensed in radiology, ARRT CT registry eligible, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days of hire, at least two (2) years of radiology experience as a registered technologist, and a valid license.
- Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year post-graduation experience with trauma radiology.
- Additional Information: Performs CT exams and procedures, assists radiologists and medical staff, completes documentation for exams, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. This role involves the operation of a CT scanner to obtain diagnostic images, utilizing knowledge of imaging techniques, anatomy, and safety protocols. The position may require working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends, after-hours shifts, and on-call duties.
- Physical and Cognitive Demands: Frequent lifting, standing, walking, and fine-finger movements; continuous visual and cognitive tasks; exposure to radiation, bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, and infectious materials. The role requires flexibility and the ability to respond promptly to organizational needs.
