Job Summary:

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) located in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves working in a busy invasive cardiovascular laboratory providing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Lewiston, Maine


• Shift: Days, 07:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m. with call; schedule of 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: Certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and either American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential. Education requirements include current certifications as listed. No minimum years of experience specified but ideally 1-2 years of cath lab scrubbing experience.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Left heart catheterization, Right heart catheterization, pericardiocentesis, catheter-directed thrombolysis, peripherals and hybrid procedures, as well as IV Ultrasound (IVUS), Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR), and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). Experience with Electrophysiology (EP) or Electrophysiology (EV) procedures is a plus.


• Additional Information: Coverage is provided for leave with no block scheduling. This role involves working in a Level III Trauma Center with a dedicated CV Invasive Services Cath lab. The position requires the ability to work flexible hours and be a team player.
