Job Summary

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) - Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized technical support within the cardiac catheterization lab, including monitoring, scrub, and circulation duties during various vascular and heart procedures. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts and possibly fill on-call responsibilities to support urgent clinical cases.

Job Details

• Schedule: 10-hour rotating shifts with varying start times (from 0530 to 1800) and a minimum of 40 hours per week


• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS. No specific years of experience are explicitly required, but preferred minimum of 2-3 years' experience in the field. Valid licensure or registration is not required to submit candidates.


• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS, RCIS (Radiologic Cardiac Intervention Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist) preferred.


• Additional Information: The role involves working in units with 8 fluoroscopy rooms and 1 minimally invasive room without fluoroscopy. Orientation will focus on XIM division of Witt and Philips charting systems, EPIC, Pyxis, Xcelera, Siemens, and Philips fluoroscopy systems. Candidates must badge in and out at the facility and be capable of scrub, circulate, and monitor in peripheral/vascular, right and left heart catheterizations, and EP cases. Floating to other units/departments is not required. Candidates will be expected to be on a mandate list to fill any vacant call shifts, including being on call every other weekend with a 30-minute response time.
