Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is based in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves providing specialized support in the cardiac catheterization lab, working closely with the interventional cardiology team. The position requires a dedicated professional to assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 07/27/2026.
- Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Cath Lab / Cardiac Cath Lab experience, ACTIVE registered certification from ARRT or RCIS, valid drivers license, BLS certification (AHA).
- Preferred Qualifications: Structural heart experience, interventional radiology experience, EP experience, travel experience within the previous 18 months, scrubbing and monitoring proficiency, willingness to float across campuses, peripheral vascular experience.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have scrubbing and monitoring experience, and be willing to float across all Des Moines campuses to similar units if needed. The position involves call responsibilities, with one night per week and every third weekend, with a call schedule from 7:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday. The ultrasound and other competencies are highly preferred. Orientation sessions are scheduled for 7/27, 8/3, and 8/10, with earlier start dates prioritized. The role involves working on rare occasions during scheduled holidays unless the unit is closed. Successful candidates will participate in a skills checklist specific to the Cath Lab discipline.
