Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL Technician) position is located in the healthcare providers facility. The role involves supporting cardiac catheterization procedures, including electrophysiology and interventional cardiology, within a specialized cardiac lab. The technologist will assist with patient care, equipment operation, and procedural support in a fast-paced, outpatient setting.
Job Details
- Position Description: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist specializing in adult cardiac procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cath labs, electrophysiology, and device implants.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CCI RCIS required.
- Education Requirements: No specific degree required; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Location Requirements: Minimal; local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be prioritized.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization required.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Additional Qualifications: Competent in accurate monitoring, fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, pacemaker and defibrillator management, and use of related equipment.
- Responsibilities: Support adult cardiac and electrophysiology procedures, maintain equipment, assist with patient preparation and post-procedure care, and ensure sterile technique.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must hold a PA license and complete required modules prior to start.
- Additional Information: This position may care for COVID-19 patients. The facility is tobacco and fragrance free, and the shift involves call rotation on weekends and overnight as needed.
