Job Description
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists play a crucial role in the healthcare industry by capturing high-quality medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes using magnetic resonance imaging.
In this position, you will work in a hospital, outpatient center, private practice, imaging center, or other healthcare facility, preparing patients for MRIs, operating MRI technology, processing MRIs for radiologists and physicians, and handling patient records.
You may also be responsible for utilizing other radiologic equipment such as computed tomography (CT) scans and X-rays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures
- Operate MRI technology to capture high-quality images
- Process MRIs for radiologists and physicians
- Handle patient records
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as an MRI technologist
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
