Position Title: Print Production Operator

Department: Fulfillment Department

Position Location: (In-Office, Remote, Hybrid) In-Office

Reports to: Fulfillment Manager

Position Summary:

The Print Production Operator position requires a Candidate who is an organized team player with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. The Candidate must have experience working in a fast-paced production environment. Attention to detail is necessary to ensure accuracy from the task process level to the review level. Tasks are deadlines received with set deadlines, so the Candidate will be held to those schedules. Department task cross-training will enable the team's effort to be a success.

Educational or Certification Requirements:

· High School Diploma, College is a Plus

· Minimum of 1 year print production or direct mail services experience.

· General Office Experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Character Required:

· Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ; maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of the ministry.

· Feels a calling to serve God through serving Cross Catholic Outreach in this capacity.

· Believes in and supports the mission and ministry of Cross Catholic Outreach, and agrees with the conduct policies and conduct expectations of Cross Catholic Outreach.

· Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, including spreadsheets and word-processing, with a high degree of accuracy.

• Must be able to lift 50lbs – participate in the reception of delivered paper/materials. Transport cases of paper from storage to the printer.
• Ability to work with and maintain production machines.
• Mail merge and set up additional graphics for jobs as necessary.
• Print jobs on all types of paper and print media.
• Ensure the machines are maintaining optimal quality during runs.
• Production Finishing, including folding, creasing, and cutting down prints.

· Experience with Envelope Inserter/mailing equipment is a plus.

Duties:

· Fulfill several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

• Assist with the scheduled Fulfillment Department assignments to completion. This may include proofing files and a variety of tasks, including production and mailing work, with attention to detail.
• Maintain inventory of supplies (paper, toner/inks, etc).
• Setting up jobs according to specifications and job preferences.
• Packaging jobs for delivery/shipping.
• Assembling printed pieces for mailing or shipping.

· Assist with deliveries.

· Multi-task, prioritize workday, and manage time effectively.

· Understand and adhere to product Quality Control.

· Other duties as assigned

Pay: $32,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year
