Hospitality Manager

Crosby Hops
Woodburn, OR Full Time
POSTED ON 10/18/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 2/14/2027

Great beer. Real hop fields. One unforgettable place to work.

Imagine running a beer garden surrounded by the very hops that helped make the beer in your glass. Welcome to TopWire Hop Project, where craft beer, Oregon agriculture, and community come together. Located on the fifth-generation Crosby Hop Farm in Woodburn, Oregon, TopWire is an open-air beer destination surrounded by towering hop fields, with views of Mt. Hood, exceptional craft beer, and a community of people who love gathering here.

Named among USA TODAY's 10Best beer gardens in the country, TopWire welcomes thousands of guests each season for great beer and events in a memorable setting.

We're looking for a Hospitality Manager who can take this special place and make it even better.

The Opportunity

This isn't your typical restaurant or taproom management job. We're looking for a creative, entrepreneurial hospitality leader who loves bringing people together, knows how to build and inspire a great team, and understands what it takes to run a successful business.

You'll lead the day-to-day operation of TopWire while helping shape its next chapter. That includes elevating our guest experience, overseeing an exceptional craft beer program, developing an in-house food concept, creating memorable events, and ensuring the business operates efficiently.

Some days you'll be coaching your team through a busy Saturday. Others you'll be collaborating with breweries, developing a new event, or finding ways to make our guests' next visit even better.

We're looking for someone who can dream big, execute the details, and take ownership of the results.

What You'll Lead

Create an exceptional guest experience

Make TopWire a place people can't wait to return to. Set high standards for hospitality, service, cleanliness, and atmosphere. Be a visible, welcoming leader who connects with guests, solves problems, and finds creative ways to bring our farm and beer story to life.

Build and inspire a great team

Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and lead our seasonal hospitality team. Develop strong shift leaders, establish clear expectations, and create a culture where people take pride in their work. Manage staffing and labor thoughtfully while keeping the guest experience front and center.

Bring our new food program to life

Help launch and lead TopWire's new in-house food offerings! You'll help develop the menu, equipment needs, staffing, and operating procedures, then oversee food quality, kitchen performance, inventory, costs, and the overall guest experience.

Make great beer the heart of the experience

Oversee a rotating craft beer program featuring outstanding breweries, unique releases, and TopWire-branded beers made with Crosby hops. Maintain strong brewery relationships and ensure our team can confidently share the stories behind what's on tap. Delegate purchasing and inventory responsibilities while maintaining accountability for beer quality, availability, and cost controls.

Create events worth talking about

From our Oregon Hop Festival and anniversary celebrations to off-season monthly pop-up series, you'll help bring TopWire to life throughout the year. Develop creative event concepts, manage budgets and logistics, coordinate vendors, and evaluate what makes each event successful. You'll also oversee private event bookings and execution.

Grow the TopWire Beer Club

Own the member experience, including quarterly beer selections, fulfillment, pickups, recruitment, and retention. Help turn occasional visitors into loyal TopWire fans.

Run a financially strong operation

Own the details that make a hospitality business successful. Manage labor, purchasing, inventory, waste, and operating expenses. Monitor sales, average transaction value, sales per labor hour, and other key performance indicators. Use the numbers to make smart decisions and continuously improve results.

Take pride in the property

Oversee the appearance, cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness of our outdoor venue, draft systems, equipment, and facilities. Coordinate with vendors and Crosby Hops leadership to keep everything running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Who We're Looking For

You're the kind of person who can walk into a busy hospitality operation, immediately recognize what needs attention, and make things happen. You bring both hospitality instincts and business discipline. You know how to make guests feel welcome, but you're equally comfortable building schedules, reviewing sales, managing costs, and holding your team accountable. You're creative, resourceful, organized, and excited by the opportunity to help grow a distinctive hospitality business.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven management experience in a restaurant, tasting room, brewery taproom, or comparable hospitality operation.
  • Strong experience hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and leading a team.
  • A passion for craft beer and enthusiasm for the people, ingredients, and stories behind it.
  • Experience managing labor, inventory, purchasing, operating budgets, and financial performance.
  • A track record of delivering excellent guest experiences while maintaining operational standards.
  • Creativity and initiative in developing events, programming, and new revenue opportunities.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence working independently, making decisions, and taking ownership of results.
  • Experience managing food service or developing a food program is strongly preferred.
  • Comfort using operational metrics to improve performance.

Additional requirements:

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holiday event weekends, particularly during our peak season from May through October.
  • Ability to work in an outdoor hospitality environment with changing weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Oregon alcohol service permit and food handler card as required.

This is a full-time, year-round leadership position with a seasonal business rhythm. Our busiest months are May through October, while the offseason provides opportunities for planning, team development, special events, and preparing for an even better season ahead.

We're part of Crosby Hops, a family-owned, Certified B Corporation with a long history in Oregon agriculture and a passion for helping brewers make their best beers better.

If you're a hospitality professional who loves craft beer, thrives on building great teams, and gets excited about turning creative ideas into successful operations, we'd love to meet you.
