Crosby Electric is looking to expand our North Alabama footprint, and we are looking for seasoned electricians to invest in and join our team! Crosby Electric is looking to expose and train new technicians alongside our current technicians, and send you to (Brief) TEGG Training across the country to be proficient in the following:

· Infrared Technology and Thermography

· Energized & De-energized Maintenance

· Voltage & Current Analysis

· Ultrasonic Testing

This is an amazing opportunity to get into Industrial Maintenance, we are willing to train the right candidates eager for a career and not just another job! The preferred candidate will spend time working in both Birmingham and Huntsville, or time enough in Birmingham to be properly trained by our current technicians to then go service the Huntsville market.

Salary: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour Full-Time year-round work Excellent Benefits package!

What to Expect:

· Extensive training with Thermographic imaging, Ultrasonic Testing, Advanced meter reading and other diagnostic tools to perform Electrical preventative maintenance in an industrial setting.

· Safety is a priority! Furthering your OSHA knowledge and ability to wear a 40 CAL ARC-FLASH suit.

Job Requirements:

· At least 8 years of experience in the field

· Must possess an Alabama Journeyman License

· Troubleshoot electrical issues using multimeter and other testing equipment

· Previous experience Installing and laying out conduit and conductor terminations in 480/277V and 208/120V applications

· Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including motors, drives, and control systems

· Previous experience roughing in and installing distribution equipment such as switchgear, switchboards, transformers, distribution panels, and other pieces of distribution equipment

· Ability to assess job/issue and generate solutions including labor activities, material list, and quotable items required to properly repair or install per facility request.

· Collaborate and effectively communicate with facility staff

· Ability to take direction and work well with others

· Eagerness to learn and utilize industry leading Technology

· Attention to detail

· Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Valid driver’s license

· Knowledge of NFPA 70, NEC, and OSHA regulations

· Physical stamina for heavy industrial environment

· Multiple locations include Birmingham, Huntsville, and surrounding counties.
