What are the responsibilities and job description for the EcoBlock-Laborer/Floater position at Crook Industries?
EcoBlock is seeking a Laborer/Floater to join our growing team. In this position, you’ll be part of a fast-paced production team that agglomerates fine materials into shapes.
Responsibilities
- Safely and effectively monitor the unloading process on the production line and catch potential interruptions of discharged materials
- Ensure production stays as productive as possible
- Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely
- Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean work area
- Use of air chisel at the end of shift to do a clean out process
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 50-80lbs daily
Requirements
- Shift work schedule (24/7 operation)
- Knowledge of basic safety practices
- Work in tight spaces
- Keep all equipment clean and maintained
- Attending weekly safety meetings as needed
- Perform general labor, shoveling, and cleaning duties
