JOB This position will start on or after July 1, 2026.
Under the general supervision of the System Engineer this position will be responsible for the first line of IT technical support for all County departments. The IT User Support Technician will support and maintain end user computer systems, mobile devices, software systems, and peripherals for all County departments. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all software, hardware, and equipment. This position will work with the Information Technology Operations team and other IT support staff and will be expected to perform other duties as needed. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Essential Job Functions

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

- End user support of all IT hardware and software for all services provided by Crook County IT for the County.
- IT administration of all IT hardware and software for all services provided by Crook County IT for the County.
- Active Directory administration
- Microsoft 365 cloud platform & Azure administration.
- VOIP telephone system administration.
- Support and configuration of Windows operating systems and software.
- Support and configuration of multi-function printers.
- Documentation of IT work through ticketing and documentation platforms.
