Job Title: Piano Accompanist
Work Days: As Assigned
Reports to: Chior Director/ Building or Program Administrator
FLSA Status: Classified – Non-Exempt
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide piano accompaniment for vocal and instrumental individuals and ensembles in Crook County School District
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced piano skills, especially as an accompanist
- Advanced sight-reading ability
- Ability to play open score choral arrangements
- Collaborates with music director and students in a positive manner
- Possess effective communication skills
- Demonstrates appropriate rehearsal and performance etiquette
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be an accomplished piano accompanist who collaborates well with students and directors.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal history background check and complete required SafeSchools training.
