NOW HIRING — UNDERGROUND FIBER TECHNICIAN
Crone Communications is hiring an Underground Fiber Technician to join our growing team!
We are looking for someone dependable and mechanically inclined who is comfortable performing residential underground construction work.
JOB DUTIES:
• Bore under residential driveways and other surfaces — up to 40 feet
• Trench for underground utilities — typically 2–3 feet deep
• Install underground conduit up to 2 inches
• Prepare and install conduit for fiber optic cable
• Assist with fiber optic cable installation and preparation
• Hand dig and expose underground utilities as needed
• Operate boring and construction equipment
• Perform job-site cleanup and restoration
• Follow all company and safety procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Underground construction experience is beneficial, but we will train the right candidate
• Experience with boring, trenching, conduit, or fiber is a plus
• Comfortable working outdoors in Arizona weather
• Able to use hand tools and construction equipment
• Reliable and dependable
• Able to perform physical labor, including digging, bending, kneeling, and lifting
• Safety-minded and able to follow instructions
Fiber and underground construction experience are not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
