Staff Accountant IPosition PurposeStaff Accountant responsibilities include but are not limited to, generating and posting journal entries, account and bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies in accounts receivable accounts.In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsMaintain and balance general ledger, resolving discrepancies.Resolve AR issues.Assist with month end close process.Assist or manage payroll process as requestedMonitor company credit card(s) activity.Run financial reports for Director of Finance.Data Analysis.Ad hoc projects when assigned.CompetenciesExperienced in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.Good communication and time management skillsGood organizational skills and attention to detailAnalytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently yet function as part of a team.Ability to multi-task.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Qualifications / Prior ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.2 years equivalent work experienceExperience in Adobe Acrobat Pro/DC is a plus.Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance visions, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Prolonged period of sitting or standing at a desk while working on a computer.About UsCromwell Architects Engineers offers the opportunity to be part of something bigger.
