Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks such as tractor-trailers across designated routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Follow established route driving procedures to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards.
- Manage documentation related to freight movement, including delivery logs, load manifests, and inspecti
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle to ensure optimal performance and safety at all times.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license class A
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with freight handling.
- Skilled in manual transmission operation
- Knowledge of route driving best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Comfortable performing vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks regularly.
