The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-fueled organization whose mission is to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the quality of life for the children and adults affected by these diseases. Our work is dramatically accelerating the research process through our varied research initiatives; we also provide extensive educational and support resources for patients and their families, medical professionals, and the public. Position Summary:   

The Foundation has an exciting learning opportunity available for a Finance Intern. This is a chance to work within a leading non-profit organization to gain firsthand knowledge on accounting and finance operations that help an organization accomplish its mission. This role would provide exposure to the overall field of Finance and Operations. We are seeking someone for this internship who is high-energy, detailed oriented and a self-starter with strong inter-personal and communication skills.   

This is a hybrid internship with 2 days/week in the Foundation's New York City office and 2 days/week remote (20 hours/week).  The Spring Internship program runs from February 9 - April 2. 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:  

• Assist theFinance Department with all administrative aspects duringWorkday ERP go-live, 2025 Year End Audit, Board prep
• Special projects
• Other duties as required  

Qualifications: 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Interest inAccounting and Financeareas of focus.  
• Knowledge of Microsoft Officerequired.
• Interest and comfort level with data analytics.
• Must be pro-active, self-directed, detail-orientedand organized, as well as work independently in a virtual setting.
• Ability to interact professionally with multiple and diverse cross-departmentalstakeholders 
• Ability to prioritize, work underpressureand meet deadlines (with supervision).
