Wage: $26 - $28 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary:
The Wash Plant Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating crusher machinery by using a computerized control panel. The Wash Plant Equipment Operator is a full-time position that requires overtime through peak season, reports to the Foreman, and has no supervisory responsibility. The position will require traveling to different sites at the completion of the job. Take ownership of your role by completing pre- and post-shift equipment inspections, servicing equipment, and producing products efficiently and safely while working with a team that feels like family.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate crusher machinery by operating a computerized control panel.
- Work inside the enclosed booth to oversee the machinery and wash process.
- Troubleshoot and communicate problems with the ground crew.
- Assist with machine maintenance, repairs, unplugging, shoveling off conveyors/screens, repairing conveyor problems, and grease-moving parts.
- Perform wash plant machinery set up and take down, which includes running cables and hoses, setting up blocks, tarping, shoveling aggregate, etc.
- Operate heavy equipment/skid steer to move parts and materials if needed.
- Perform daily inspections with appropriate documentation to ensure safety compliance.
- Keep the crusher and other associated areas clean and organized.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public at all times.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operation and production areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA.
- Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions).
Position Requirements:
- Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.
- Loader experience.
- MSHA part 46 and 48 miner certifications.
- Mechanical knowledge.
- Dependability and reliability by showing up to scheduled shifts on time and being prepared for work.
- A positive attitude is critical to ensure productive working relationships with co-workers and management.
- Continuous exposure to weather elements including heat, cold, noise, dusty conditions, and working outdoors.
- Overnight travel is not standard but may be required as site location move
- Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal.
