Duties
- Assist in drafting and reviewing estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across estate law, family law, securities law, and tribal law & regulations.
- Manage trust administration processes, including asset management, beneficiary communications, and compliance with fiduciary duties.
- Prepare legal motions, pleadings, contracts, and other documentation with precision and clarity.
- Support litigation cases related to estate disputes, personal injury claims, or contractual issues by gathering evidence and drafting case memos.
- Negotiate settlements or agreements on behalf of clients in estate or family law matters while ensuring adherence to procedural law knowledge.
- Maintain meticulous case management records using legal case management software; track deadlines and organize case files efficiently.
Experience
- Proven experience in estate planning, trust administration, or related fields within a law office environment.
- Familiarity with a broad spectrum of legal areas including environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, securities law, workers' compensation law, litigation (general & commercial), personal injury law, employment law cases, patent law, and tribal laws & regulations.
- Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw for statutory legal research and procedural law knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to draft clear legal documents such as contracts and motions while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with effective legal writing and oral communication abilities.
- Experience in handling personal injury cases or personal injury case experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of legal administrative processes including motion preparation and case management procedures.

Pay: $110,556.95 - $150,294.39 per year
