Job Title: Field Coordinator
Location: Kokomo, IN / Indianapolis, IN
About Us:
We are a thriving real estate investment company with a strong presence in Kokomo and Indianapolis, Indiana. Managing a diverse portfolio of approximately 900 units, we specialize in single-family homes and small multi-family properties. Our team is dedicated to excellence, growth, and leadership development. As we expand our portfolio, we're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Field Coordinator to join our Project Management Team.
Position Overview:
As the Field Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our properties are in top condition and ready for new tenants. You’ll visit properties after tenant move-outs and assess new acquisitions, creating detailed inspection reports and scopes of work. Working closely with our Project Manager, you’ll oversee the progress of renovations and maintenance projects, ensuring they meet our high standards. Upon project completion, you’ll conduct final inspections to confirm everything is ready for move-in.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct move-out inspections to assess property condition and identify necessary repairs.
· Visit new properties to evaluate their readiness and determine work needed for rental preparation.
· Create detailed move-out inspection reports and comprehensive scopes of work for each property.
· Perform project progress checks as directed by the Project Manager.
· Conduct final inspections and generate move-in reports upon project completion.
· Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, contractors, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
· Utilize basic technology skills to document inspections, report findings, and track project progress.
· Apply critical thinking to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
Qualifications:
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Comfort working in and out of the office, including visiting vacant properties.
· Basic technology skills, including the use of smartphones, tablets, and inspection/reporting software.
· Basic understanding of property maintenance and renovations is a plus.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
· Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
