Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the lifecycle of DoN acquisitions by developing acquisition strategies, preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with DoD 5000 series or other relevant regulations. Analyze program health, monitor performance, and support reviews. Must be able to work independently, demonstrate initiative and contribute to a multi-discipline, rapid action team.
Tasks Performed:
Demonstrated Knowledge:
- Knowledge and experience with Acquisition Management System suite, specifically the Program Management Tool and Common Spend Plan Tool.
- Provide Procurement Planning Conference support along with general acquisition support.
- Support the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans, Individual Streamlined Acquisition Plan, Program Streamlined Acquisition Plan, Acquisition Strategy Reports, Procurement Initiation Documents, Statement of Work, funding documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists, and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements.
- Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
- Attend, participate, support, analyze, provide input, develop, prepare and report on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.
Required Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with three (3) years relevant experience.
Allowable Experience/Education Substitutions: An additional six (6) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. An associate’s degree plus additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
