About Us
Critter Wranglers is a fast-growing pest and wildlife control company serving the Knoxville area. We handle everything from routine pest control to complex wildlife removal and exclusion work.
We’re building a team that takes pride in doing things right, moving fast, and taking care of customers at a high level
You’re not just answering phones here.
You are the front line of a fast-growing pest and wildlife company. Every call is a decision point. Book it, upsell it, route it right or lose it.
If you like slow days and low expectations, this is not your job.
If you like winning, solving problems quickly, and being directly tied to company growth, keep reading.
What You’ll Actually Do
- Take inbound calls from homeowners dealing with real problems (rodents, termites, wildlife damage, insects)
- Turn those calls into scheduled, revenue-producing jobs
- Build routes that make sense, maximize efficiency, and keep technicians moving
- Follow up on unsold estimates and missed opportunities
- Handle scheduling changes without letting the day fall apart
- Communicate clearly with technicians, management, and customers
- Keep the calendar tight and the pipeline full
- What Winning Looks Like
- High booking percentage on inbound calls
- Minimal gaps in routes
- Fast response times to new leads
- Customers feel taken care of, not brushed off
- Technicians stay productive because your schedule makes sense
Who This Is For
- Someone who is competitive and likes measurable performance
- Someone who can stay calm when phones are ringing and things shift
- Someone who can talk to people and control a conversation without sounding pushy
- Someone who notices problems before they explode
- Someone who takes ownership instead of making excuses
Who This Is NOT For
- If you need constant direction
- If you avoid difficult conversations
- If you get overwhelmed easily
- If “good enough” is your standard
- Experience That Helps (but isn’t required)
- Pest control, HVAC, plumbing, or home services scheduling
- High-volume call handling
- Sales or appointment setting
- Route optimization or dispatching
We can train systems. We can’t train urgency, awareness, or grit.
