Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications and monitor health status as directed by healthcare provider.s
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote mental well-being
- Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments.
- Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to supervising healthcare professionals.
- Follow care plans meticulously, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Requirements
- Experience working in Caregiving, Geriatrics, Medical-surgical units, PICU, OR settings, or post-acute care environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of outpatient, clinic, or sub-acute care practices is beneficial
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans
- Valid certification as a caregiver or relevant healthcare training preferred but not mandatory
- Must pass background checks and adhere to all safety protocols
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are desirable for client visits
