About Us:
Critical Sports & Entertainment (CSE) is a fast-scaling, multi-vertical sports and entertainment company with seven talent management divisions and eight owned live event verticals. With over 70 clients and a network of 18 former professional athletes as advisors, we’re redefining athlete management, crossover branding, and culturally driven sports entertainment.
We manage talent across combat sports, basketball, football, music, entertainment wrestling, and content — and our live event platforms include a combat sports promotion, national boxing league, semi-pro basketball teams, a global basketball combine, a national wrestling series, and a college music tour launching in 2025.
As we expand our athlete representation arm, we’re actively seeking certified sports agents to help build out our roster and represent elite talent across major sports.
The Role:
We are hiring Certified Sports Agents with valid credentials from any of the following major player associations:
- NBPA (National Basketball Players Association)
- WNBPA (Women's National Basketball Players Association)
- FIBA (International Basketball Federation)
- NFLPA (National Football League Players Association)
- MLBPA (Major League Baseball Players Association)
- NHLPA (National Hockey League Players' Association)
- FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association)
You will work alongside the CSE executive team to recruit, manage, and negotiate on behalf of talent while helping expand our reach across key markets in the U.S. and internationally. The role will come with strong commission incentives, direct support from CSE’s marketing and operations teams, and for the right individuals, a potential equity opportunity in the division you help grow.
What You’ll Do:
- Represent and manage professional athletes across basketball, football, soccer, baseball, hockey, or related fields
- Negotiate contracts, endorsements, NIL, licensing, and branding opportunities
- Identify and recruit emerging talent for long-term representation
- Work closely with CSE’s marketing, legal, and content teams to maximize athlete exposure
- Collaborate with division heads and event partners to amplify athlete visibility through appearances, campaigns, and media
- Drive growth in your vertical through relationships, credibility, and business acumen
- Stay ahead of compliance, union rules, and representation regulations
Ideal Background:
- Active certification by at least one of the following: NBPA, WNBPA, FIBA, NFLPA, MLBPA, NHLPA, or FIFA
- Proven experience representing athletes at the collegiate or professional level
- Strong relationships within the sports industry, including scouts, teams, sponsors, and other agents
- Entrepreneurial mindset with hunger to build something alongside an elite, culture-driven team
- Passion for both athlete success and broader brand growth
- Comfort working in a startup environment, with equity-first upside and long-term potential
