Position Summary

The Operations Specialist (Site Management & Facilities) is responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, and upkeep of CMG's San Angelo and Ballinger sites, ensuring both locations remain safe, organized, and fully operational in support of CMG's production and program work. This role serves as the on-the-ground point of accountability for site facilities, logistics, and production support, working closely with the Director of Operations and site personnel to keep daily operations running smoothly as CMG scales its manufacturing footprint.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities encompass a range of functional areas, with primary emphasis on site-related operations, based on business priorities and demands.

Site Management & Coordination

• Serve as the on-site point of contact for day-to-day site operations at San Angelo and Ballinger.
• Coordinate across departments and personnel to keep site activities organized and on schedule.
• Maintain site organization, cleanliness, and general order across facilities and work areas.

Site Maintenance

• Oversee routine facility upkeep, repairs, and maintenance requests across both sites.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance, repair, and facility service needs.
• Identify and escalate facility issues before they impact operations.

Logistics / Supply Chain

This function will diminish upon Supply Chain / Logistics hires.

• Support receiving, staging, and distribution of materials and supplies across site locations.
• Coordinate shipping and logistics needs in support of site and production activities.
• Track and maintain inventory of site supplies and equipment.

Production Support

• Provide general operational support to production activities as needed.
• Assist production and site teams with tasks that support smooth daily operations.
• Support setup, coordination, and logistics for site-based projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort working hands-on in a fast-paced, evolving site environment.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple functional areas and personnel.
• Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable managing day-to-day site needs with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication skills for working with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Background check required.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

This position is onsite in the San Angelo / Ballinger, TX area — this is not a remote or hybrid role. May require time across both site locations and hands-on facility and logistics work.
