A Travel Physical Therapist Assistant or Local Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is needed for our Outpatient Ortho Sports Med Practice treating a General Orthopedic patient population. We are a Quality of Care Focused Orthopedic practice.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Silver Spring, MD. As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will work closely with our patients to provide high-quality care and achieve optimal results.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one treatments to patients, with follow-up visits lasting 30-45 minutes.
- Conduct a minimum of 50-55 patient visits per week.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Masters or Doctorate of Physical Therapy (PT) from an accredited physical therapy program approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association in collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association.
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
- At least one year of experience in outpatient orthopedics, or new graduates with one clinical in outpatient setting.
- CPR certification.
