Critical Care Newborn Services is currently seeking an experienced neonatology candidate to join our 3 person private practice neonatology group. We currently practice in a 46 bed unit and are a level 3 NICU with all the high-level equipment and ventilators. We strive for high quality, outstanding VON outcomes, and efficiency. We deliver about 3,500 babies here and are still trying to grow. We are one of the busiest delivery hospitals in the Ochsner Health System. We have a transport team that drives to local nurseries for transports.
Role Description
We are seeking a neonatologist with experience in a busy NICU who is seeking a different practice environment where quality, efficiency, collaboration, and collegiality are paramount. Flexibility and openness to our patient management and communication style, which contribute to highly efficient patient care and quality outcomes, are essential for our group and the entire NICU staff.
We have 24/7/365 NNP coverage for our Level 3 NICU. Our neonatologists take call from home. As a small, private practice group, we prioritize collaboration and work-life balance. Compensation is based on experience.

Qualifications
- Expertise in Neonatology and Neonatal Intensive Care management
- Strong foundation in Newborn Care and Pediatrics
- Proficiency in Medicine with a focus on diagnosing and treating critically ill infants
- Exceptional teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Board certification in Neonatology
- Valid medical license to practice in Louisiana
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and medical excellence
