Criterion Corporation has an immediate opening for 1 full time Motor Vehicle Mechanic.
05190 MOTOR VEHICLE MECHANIC
The Motor Vehicle Mechanic repairs, rebuilds, or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks or tractors. Work involves most of the following: Diagnosing the source of trouble and determining the extent of repairs required; replacing worn or broken parts such as piston rings, bearings, or other engine parts; grinding and adjusting valves; rebuilding carburetors; overhauling transmissions; and repairing fuel injection, lighting, and ignition systems. In general, the work of the Motor Vehicle Mechanic requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Verifiable experience or equivalent training as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic
Must hold a Master ASE Certification
Must be able to qualify for and maintain the appropriate “Secret” Security Clearance
Must have a REAL ID or passport to enter the base
CDL is preferred
Must comply with company policies, OSHA, and base safety
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening & physical
Required to follow oral and written directions in English
Knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook or similar programs is helpful
COMPENSATION:
Hourly wage will be $37.94 plus $9.23 H&W as a Master ASE Motor Vehicle Mechanic.
