Duties
- Perform tire rotations, replacements, balancing, and repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety
- Conduct oil changes and replace automotive fluids such as coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and power steering fluid efficiently
- Assist with wheel alignments to improve vehicle handling and tire longevity
- Diagnose basic mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and communicate findings effectively
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform minor mechanical repairs and vehicle maintenance tasks
- Support the service team by conducting vehicle inspections, identifying maintenance needs, and recommending additional services when appropriate
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols during all service procedures
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or automotive service experience is highly preferred
- Semi tire experience highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
- Familiarity with standard passenger car operation and basic mechanical repair techniques
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of tire installation or other mechanical tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Experience with alignment services, oil changes, fluid replacements, and minor mechanical repairs is desirable
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in sales or upselling additional services is a plus
