Our Shift Leaders and associates are focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience. The FOH SL will lead their team with an eye on the food, feel, and flow of the restaurant each shift. It is vital that our Shift Leaders can coach and inspire teams to deliver and maintain the crisp standard.
Position Overview:
As a Front of House Shift Leader, you will be in charge of training and development of our FOH teams while maintaining our crisp standards with regards to food safety and quality. You will be a mentor, coach, and leader that our FOH teams will want to emulate. We see the Service Manager as an absolutely vital role in our continued success and growth as a company
Shift Leaders Duties and Responsibilities: (in addition to Service Crew member responsibilities)
- In charge of day to day operations in the front of house
- Build a positive atmosphere where our guests always feel welcomed and leave satisfied
- Train existing crew and new hires to become confident in their ability to deliver the crisp standard
- Identify and develop future leaders
- Challenge your team to become better every day
- Create and maintain a culture where teammates have the opportunity to learn and grow
- Maintain a clean and organized line with properly functioning line equipment
- Manage food safety through line temps, handwashing and glove use
- Monitoring secondary shelf lives and enforcing all food safety policies and procedures
- Clear understanding of operating procedures, recipes, and restaurant handbook
- Effectively communicate changes to restaurant team including changes to menu, policies, and team member benefits
- Resolving customer incidents and working to ensure a positive guest experience
- Facilitating marketing, promotions, and event
Job Requirements:
- Previous management/supervisory experience
- 2 years customer service experience
- Passion for living a healthy life
- Able to stand for long periods of time and work in fast-pace environment
- Open availability with a flexible schedule that can be divided amongst all leaders
- Preferred:
- Management experience in the restaurant industry
- Reliable transportation
