What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Relations Manager position at Crisis Clean Team?
Crisis Clean Team is growing, and we’re creating a new role focused on something incredibly important to us: relationships.
We’re looking for a Community Partnerships Manager who will help more professionals, organizations, and communities understand who Crisis Clean Team is, what we do, and how we can help the people they serve.
This could be an incredible next step for someone with a background in social work, case management, human services, healthcare, community outreach, or another people-centered profession who still wants their work to make a difference, but is ready for something slightly different.
Your focus will be building relationships, creating partnerships, educating communities, and representing a company whose entire mission is centered around helping people through difficult situations without judgment.
You'll be the face of Crisis Clean Team within many of the communities and organizations we serve.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain relationships with counties, social workers, case managers, healthcare organizations, housing professionals, law enforcement, community organizations, and other referral partners
- Develop new community partnerships and strengthen existing relationships throughout Minnesota
- Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with current and prospective partners
- Attend networking events, conferences, trade shows, expos, and community events
- Travel throughout Minnesota for meetings, presentations, networking, and partnership development
- Serve as a polished, knowledgeable, and compassionate brand ambassador
- Identify new opportunities for partnerships, referrals, education, and community involvement
- Maintain consistent communication with partners so relationships continue long after the initial introduction
- Provide exceptional follow-up after meetings, presentations, events, and new introductions
- Accurately document contacts, conversations, opportunities, next steps, and follow-up activity within our CRM
- Manage your outreach calendar, appointments, presentations, contacts, and follow-up responsibilities with a high level of organization
- Work closely with leadership to identify new communities, organizations, and opportunities
Relationships Matter. Follow-Through Does Too. We are looking for someone who is naturally great with people, but this role requires much more than being outgoing.
You need to be equally strong behind the scenes.
The right person will be highly organized and administratively strong. You'll remember the conversation, document it, send the follow-up, schedule the next meeting, update the CRM, and continue nurturing the relationship.
Who We're Looking For
- Have exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Have strong emotional intelligence and know how to make people feel comfortable and heard
- Are confident walking into a room where you don't know anyone and starting genuine conversations
- Are comfortable presenting to both small and large groups
- Communicate professionally and confidently without sounding scripted or "salesy"
- Have excellent written communication skills
- Have strong administrative, organizational, and documentation skills
- Are diligent about follow-up and naturally keep track of details
- Are comfortable working with CRM systems, email, Microsoft Office, and other business technology
- Understand the importance of professional brand representation
- Are proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently
- Can manage multiple relationships, meetings, events, and follow-up activities at the same time
- Are comfortable with regular local and regional travel and occasional overnight travel
- Have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
