Job Title: Victim Advocate
The Victim Advocate Position offers a distinctive opportunity to join a strong organization and become part of an innovative and pioneering program. As a pivotal member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing victim advocacy, mentoring, and survivor support services to adults, children, adolescents, and families affected by human trafficking and internet/electronics-related crimes against children investigations. This position, situated in the greater Colorado Springs / Fountain, CO area but at times requires response outside of that immediate area.
This Victim Advocate position functions include but are not limited to:
- Provide advocacy and professional mentoring services to children, adolescents and families identified in internet / electronics related crimes against children
- Providing criminal justice and court advocacy and crisis intervention services to adult and adolescent victims of human trafficking and exploitation
- Collaborative networking with key community stakeholders
- Provide advocacy, professional mentoring services and support to human trafficking victims in a law enforcement and field environment
- Appropriate documentation and grant related data collection
Required Qualifications: BA or BS in social services, criminal justice or related field with 3 to 5 years professional experience or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with related populations (survivors of child sexual abuse, victims of sexual exploitation, trafficking, homeless populations, and/or individuals struggling with substance abuse issues, youth with intellectual disabilities or youth at risk for online sexual exploitation) required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with public speaking as well as experience, training or education in trauma informed care strongly preferred. Strong social media skills a plus. Bilingual in English/Spanish not required but also a plus.

Position Type: Full Time
Reports to: Regional Program Operations Manager
Salary: $60,400.00 to $62,400.00 with generous benefits, vacation and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,800.00 - $59,800.00 per year
