Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all vehicles are serviced to the highest standards. Pay is based on experience and work hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 6pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for automotive repair tasks.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Work with automotive electrical systems, transmissions, and powertrain components.
- Interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Assist in auto estimating for repairs and services required on vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive diagnostics.
- Proficiency in alignment procedures and general automotive repair techniques.
- Experience with welding is advantageous for certain repair tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
