Position Summary

The Hospitality Attendant is responsible for supporting Tasting Room staff in clearing tasting areas, cleaning and buffing stemware, restocking bags/boxes throughout the Tasting Room, breaking down boxes, bringing out recycling and assisting guests with wine orders to their cars.  Clears and resets tables and bars quickly and efficiently as guests leave various tasting areas.

  • Confidently share the brand story, estate highlights, and hospitality philosophy to create a meaningful sense of place and connection.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in all guest interactions.

  • Support a collaborative service culture through proactive communication, knowledge sharing, and mutual support.
  • Take ownership when service standards are not met and partner with leadership to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding guests, trade visitors, and internal winery operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clear tables after guests leave. 
  • Between seated tastings promptly clean tables, chairs and check floor for debris or wine spills. 
  • Reset tour table with all appropriate items. 
  • Assist guests with wine orders to their vehicles. 
  • Restock glassware and dishes to the appropriate areas.   
  • Clean inside and outside of dishwashing machine to maintain proper operation.   
  • Wash glassware, flatware, and dishes by hand or using dishwasher. 
  • Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated areas. 
  • Assist in set-up and breakdown of tastings, tours and events. 
  • Provide bussing for private events; set-up and breakdown of bussing stations. 
  • Inspect restrooms every hour and wipe down/restock as needed.  

Qualifications 

  • Previous experience in restaurant or winery setting preferred. 
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow. 
  • Versatile and willing to work with enthusiasm. 
  • Ability to communicate professionally with staff, management and guests. 
  • Excellent customer service skills. 
  • Good judgment to make timely and sound decisions. 
  • Manual dexterity to handle, polish glassware 
  • Required physical activity includes but is not limited to: standing, walking, some bending kneeling, reaching and lifting (up to 50 lbs.) with occasional pushing, stooping and pulling in indoor and outdoor work environments 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

The projected hourly pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour (in addition to tips and commission).  This is the projected compensation for the position however the actual compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as (but not limited to) candidate qualifications, related experience and education, candidate work location and market data.  Crimson Wine Group reserves the right to modify the pay range/rate at any time in the future.
