Position Summary
The Hospitality Associate is responsible for ensuring our guests and members receive gracious hospitality, while sampling our award-winning wines and learning about our vineyards, history and wine making practices. We are seeking a positive, enthusiastic, self-starter who is flexible and loves working in a team environment. The candidate must be passionate about wine, have ability to sell, and develop lasting relationships with guests.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Greet all visitors with enthusiasm
- Lead guests through tours and wine tasting flights, educating them about the winery story, wines, and brand.
- Work towards developing relationships with guests to convert into Wine Club members
- Effectively suggest and sell wine, with the ability to “up-sell”
- Daily Tasting Room operations, set up and breakdown, cash handling, daily sales, and club transactions.
- Work seamlessly with team to create The Estate Experience for all guests and members
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends
- Must be 21 years of age or older to comply with ABC regulations
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must possess or acquire a Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handler’s Certifications
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time

The projected hourly pay rate for this position is $17.13 per hour (in addition to tips and commission). This is the projected compensation for the position however the actual compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as (but not limited to) candidate qualifications, related experience and education, candidate work location and market data.
