About Crimson Venture Intelligence: Crimson Venture Intelligence researches and evaluates startups through due diligence covering their products, markets, business models, financials, teams, competitive environments, and risks. The organization produces and reviews venture intelligence reports based on that research.
Role Description: Analysts contribute to Crimson Venture Intelligence's research and operational activities. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Sourcing and screening early-stage startups.
- Conducting research on startups across areas such as market opportunity, business model, founding team, technological validity, etc.
- Preparing written due diligence reports.
- Participating in peer review of research and associated analyst reports.
- Supporting operational activities and organizational projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with venture capital, finance, startups, consulting, research, or related fields is welcome
- Strong analytical ability and critical thinking, complimented by knowledge of venture capital due diligence methodologies.
- Strong written communication, high attention to detail, and a strong sense of professionalism.
- Adaptability and willingness to contribute across a range of responsibilities, as well as the capacity to work in both independent and collaborated environments when needed.
Compensation: Crimson Venture Intelligence allocates 20% of distributable profits to an Analyst Compensation Pool. Individual compensation will generally be based on contribution, including completed research reports, peer review, and other material contributions to the organization.
