Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with construction equipment.

Qualifications

Compensation - Based on experience

• Valid CDL (required).
• Equivalent of high school diploma or GED and 4 years of related maintenance and repair OR 5 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
• Multiple work locations. Must be able to go to the field, evaluate the problems, and repair the equipment on your own.
• Oil & Gas Equipment Operation: 4 years (Preferred)
• Heavy Equipment Operator: 4 years (Preferred)
• Heavy Equipment Mechanic: 4 years (Preferred)
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and climbing).
• Self-starter, aggressive work ethic, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Safety conscious
• Ability to work in various conditions with exposure to weather elements.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on Caterpillar, Hitachi, Volvo, Komatsu, John Deere, and other equipment.
• Repair off-road trucks, compactors, scrapers, bulldozers, excavators, and light-duty equipment to maximize safe and productive operations.
