What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Accountant position at Crider & Crider, Inc.?
Crider & Crider, Inc. is continuing its growth plan with a dynamic opportunity as an on-site Project Accountant. You will support the project through accurate financial and accounts payable management. You'll ensure invoices, tickets, and vendor documentation are properly processed and coded, helping to keep the project on budget and well-documented.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Match tickets to invoices and scan/save to SharePoint.
- Cost code and review invoices for accuracy.
- Ensure invoices are routed to the Project Manager for approval.
- Verify material and trucking costs against quotes or lease agreements.
- Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as needed.
SUCCESS FACTORS:
- 2 years of accounting or project accounting experience (road construction industry experience preferred).
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and vendor documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (ViewPoint Spectrum preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear and professional communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrates integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling financial data.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Salary of $50K – $55K, depending on your experience. You will also receive a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, paid holidays, disability, and life insurance.
