Responsibilities
- Operate weed whackers and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently to trim grass, weeds, and overgrown areas
- Maintain clean and well-manicured edges along sidewalks, driveways, flower beds, and other landscape features
- Assist with general lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, blowing debris, and trimming shrubs when needed
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during equipment operation
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily landscaping projects within designated timeframes
- Maintain a tidy work area by properly storing tools and disposing of yard waste responsibly
Experience
- Previous experience operating weed whackers or similar landscaping equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions with stamina and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to landscaping tools and equipment
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions accurately
