Job description

The retail Sales Representative is responsible for promoting the store sales through effective sales techniques and good customer service by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Retail Sales Associates are responsible for their own sales and will carry their own Individual sales quota per month.
• Provide quality customer service including assistance with purchases and providing product information.
• Ask qualifying questions to uncover customers’ needs and provide relevant solutions.
• Follow opening and closing procedures.
• Prepare and complete any bank deposits for the day
• Reconcile cash drawers accurately at the end of each shift
• Build and maintain an understanding of the store's products and price information to assist with customer purchases.
• Receive customer payments, operate cash registers and credit card machines, and return appropriate change as needed.
• Receive and examine deliveries for discrepancies or damages and resolve problems expeditiously.
• Stock inventory and price according to guidelines set forth by management and rotate stock within the store.
• Minimize customer complaints through effective customer service.
• Maintain a neat and orderly store and ensure the store planogram is carrier compliant.
• Prepare product displays as requested.
• Report any theft or suspected theft by customers/employees to management immediately.
• Company policies and procedures are expected to be followed.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Salary: Starting rate - $17.50-18.00 per hour

Plus Monthly Commission

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability (required)

• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred, Not necessary)
• Sales: 1 year (Preferred, Not necessary)
