Job Description
The District Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and expanding the customer base in their designated district. This role involves training new sales representatives, developing sales and marketing strategies, setting sales goals, and motivating sales teams.
Reporting Structure
As a District Sales Manager, you will report to the General Manager , HR, and Operations Manager, forming a collaborative reporting structure. This structure ensures effective communication, support, and alignment between various departments and functions within the organization.
The primary reporting relationship of the District Sales Manager is to the General Manager . The General Manager holds a higher-level position and is responsible for strategic sales planning and overall sales performance across multiple districts or regions. They provide guidance, set targets, and ensure that the sales activities within the district are aligned with the company's sales objectives.
In addition to reporting to the General Manager , the District Sales Manager may also report to the HR department. This reporting line ensures that HR initiatives, policies, and procedures are effectively communicated and implemented within the district sales team. It also facilitates collaboration between sales and HR to address employee-related matters, training, and development needs.
Furthermore, the Operations Manager, who oversees the overall operations of the company, including inventory management, may also be a direct supervisor or collaborator for the District Sales Manager. The Operations Manager ensures efficient processes, manages resources, and monitors operational performance to meet business goals. Collaborating with the Operations Manager enables the District Sales Manager to align sales strategies with operational capabilities and optimize inventory management within the district.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership & Strategy
As the primary driver of sales success within the district, the District Sales Manager is expected to develop, implement, and maintain sales strategies that meet company objectives and promote consistent growth across all locations.
- Lead and manage all sales activities across assigned store locations
- Develop and implement district-level sales and marketing strategies

- Team Management & Development

- Address and resolve employee relations issues in coordination with HR
- Participate in disciplinary actions and terminations when needed
- Store Operations & Compliance

- Oversee day-to-day operations at all district locations
