Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in retail stores or on the road to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, personalized service, and follow-up
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction
- Manage route driving efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of products while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe driving practices
- Conduct merchandising activities to display products attractively and maintain store standards
- Handle heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when transporting or setting up merchandise or equipment
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and route schedules
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or related roles; retail store experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial truck driving experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with pricing strategies, upselling techniques, and basic math for transactions and inventory management
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, commercial driving requirements, and automobile transportation procedures
- Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and reporting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow proper lifting practices
- Organizational skills to manage routes efficiently and keep detailed records
- Prior military experience is beneficial for discipline, route planning, and safety awareness
