Role Description
The Account Executive is a full-time remote role responsible for developing new business and servicing existing accounts within the assigned territory. The Account Executive will identify potential clients, develop and deliver proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage client relationships. The Account Executive will also be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and other assigned objectives.
Qualifications
- Must live in assigned territory.
- Sales and business development skills, including lead generation and closing deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- 3 years experience in the environmental industry is required specifically with waste management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental studies, or related field is preferred but not a requirement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand customer needs and develop comprehensive solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce (Customer Relationship Management software).
- Ability to travel as required to meet with clients. (50% Travel Required)
Responsibilities
- Meet with existing book of business every quarter.
- Log information into Salesforce.
- Maintain and grow book of business in Arkansas and Mississippi
- Work in conjunction with National Account Managers on National Accounts.
- Submitting Expense Reports
- Quoting and Price Negotiations with current and prospective customers
- Profiling Waste Streams
