Duties
- Assist with general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using financial as QuickBooks, Microsoft Office
- Conduct data entry and account reconciliation to maintain precise financial records in compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with manager/supervisor to complete monthly report, sales tax return and fiscal year tax return preparation
Experience
- Proven experience in accounting with a strong understanding of accounting principles such as debits & credits, AP/AR workflows, double entry bookkeeping, and journal entries
- Familiarity with various QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Outlook
- Able to perform balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and account reconciliation tasks accurately
- Strong numeracy skills coupled with excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy (10 key typing skills preferred)
- Ability to interpret financial concepts, tax experience, and general ledger management
