CRi is a non-profit agency that provides quality services to help empower individuals with a wide range of disabilities to live independently and with the highest possible quality of life. Our main office is located in Chantilly, VA and we provide services throughout the DMV area.
We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Northern, VA team! We are seeking an experienced LPN to provide quality skilled nursing care to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities that live in their own homes in accordance to the physician’s orders and state/federal regulations. Provide supervision and training to the Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in the healthcare needs of the individuals. The LPNs will work alongside the interdisciplinary team in planning and service provision and in coordinating services with family members. The LPNs are also responsible for performing nursing assessments and emergency care as needed.

Requirements
Qualified Candidates Must:
- Be a Licensed Practical Nurse in Virginia or in a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Have two (2) years of current nursing experience.
- Have a VALID driver's license
- Experience with ID/DD population.
- Ability to perform nursing services for individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
- Demonstrated comprehensive nursing skills and skills in the use of standard medical equipment.
- Written and verbal communication skills for documentation and communication with families, community providers and team members.
- Ability to work independently to complete reports and document pertinent information in medical records using the Electronic Medical Record.
- Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the position with may include standing, walking, running, and lifting non-ambulatory individuals.
